A Fashion Riddle: Tokyo Lost & Found
Here is a cool short movie... "Tokyo Lost & Found" (3 minutes) by Trevor Undi.
It's a presentation of Tom Ford/Lanvin clothing... but it tells a story.
TOKYO LOST & FOUND // TOM FORD | LANVIN
that's the movie.
but what does it mean?
i like...
the way the silver in her black hair is reflected in the silver bangles on her black top...
the contrast between the woman in black and her doppelganger in red...
the questions: what does the red woman mean? why is she first presented in the cemetery? what is going on with the change in time perspective... some things sped up... others slowed down...
i think...
the intention is to show a contrast between the woman who is... the woman in black... and the woman she could be/wants to be/will become... her doppelganger woman in red...
the woman in black is in some way pursuing the woman in red...
it's her... but a different her... beckoning to her from the future.
i think the cemetery and the changes in the passage of time are meant to tie the pursuit to the course of life...
what does our life mean? time is subjective... and time is fleeting... it's flying past...
can the woman in black find the woman in red ... in time...
i wonder...
who is your woman in red? who is mine?
